Antón García-Abril is one of Spain’s leading architects and is known for his avant-garde style and personal approach to contemporary architecture. Stand-out projects include the Music Studies Center in Santiago de Compostela, the Paraíso Theater project in Shanghai and Concert Hall and Music School in Medina del Campo, Valladolid. Among the numerous awards he has received are the Rice Design Alliance Prize, Architectural Digest best architect of the year award, and first prize at the Biennial of Architecture 2000, Venice.
