George Brock

Professor and head of journalism, City University, London

George Brock began reporting at the Yorkshire Evening Press and The Observer before joining The Times in 1981. Throughout his 28-year career at The Times he has been a feature writer, foreign editor, Brussels bureau chief, European editor, managing editor, Saturday editor and most recently international editor. He is a board member of the World Editors Forum and served as its president from 2004 to 2008. 01.04.10
