Creative director, Massimo Alba
Massimo Alba began his fashion career in the mid-1980s when he created the successful cashmere knitwear brands Ever Clean and 97 rue des Mimosas. This led to his appointment as creative director for luxury cashmere brand Malo where he stayed for over 10 years before his appointment to define the new brand identity of Piombo. He is also credited for the re-launch of exclusive knitwear brands Agnona and Ballantyne and has been the creative director of the latter since 2006. He presented his first collections under his own name in 2007 and his first stand-alone shop opens this week in Milan.
