Hailing from El Salvador, Lehrer studied landscape architecture at Harvard before founding her Los Angeles-based firm. She has worked with a diverse range of private and public players to create vibrant community-oriented landscapes that include the revitalisation of Los Angeles parkland and the transformation of the downtown Eastern Columbia Art Deco block into a mixed-use development.
