The Monocle Winter Series

The Winter Series

For the final edition of The Monocle Winter Series we welcome gallerist and art magazine editor Oscar Humphries around the table to test the temperature of the art world while the Swiss alternative folk singer, Heidi Happy, sings her enchanting songs across the studio.

Switzerland-based Heidi Happy began her recording career in 2005 with the launch of the single "O-o-h", which featured on her debut album Flowers, Birds and Home, labelled by Toronto's NOW magazine as one of 2008's top 10 albums. The winner of the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation's Swiss Top award in 2007, Heidi Happy meshes pop, jazz and alternative folk with classical sounds using a cornucopia of instruments - from glockenspiels and violas to electric guitars and the flute.
