South Africa calls on the ICJ to order Israel to stop the Rafah offensive
South Africa has asked the International Court of Justice in The Hague to order Israel to immediately withdraw from Rafah and to cease its military offensive, allowing unimpeded access to international officials, investigators and journalists. In late January the ICJ ordered Israel to do more to prevent acts of genocide but it stopped short of calling for a ceasefire.
