Monocle is seeking a print production manager to join our fast-paced books-publishing team in our London office.
You will work closely with the books-publishing editor and production director to manage the print production of all books. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three to five years of experience in book production at a publisher or agency.
Key tasks will include:
- Sourcing printers relevant to the specification;
- Managing book production from initial quotes to final delivery;
- Managing the budget and invoices;
- Working with the art team to find creative solutions;
- Paper sourcing and purchasing;
- Book production schedules;
- Quality control through the prepress stage;
- Press passing in overseas locations;
- Managing all reprints of the titles as necessary.
