The Monocle Café is looking for a driven individual who is creative, proactive and has a flair for producing delicious fresh food. Our menu is small and perfectly formed, with Japanese and Scandinavian influences providing a unique and interesting selection of light bites and tasty snacks to eat in or take away.
You will be working as part of a small team, so a friendly demeanour and can-do attitude is essential. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and preparing memorable dishes; those with a flair for Japanese food will be placed at the front of the queue. Attention to detail and efficiency are compulsory. You will be required to work closely with food – both its preparation and presentation – and keep your workspace in perfect condition at all times.
