Front of House / Customer Services Apprenticeship

We are offering an apprenticeship to the right individual to take your career in exciting directions across Front of House & Customer Services. Our apprentice will receive lots of hands-on training from experienced professionals and will be given real responsibility.

We are looking for an individual with plenty of drive and self-motivation that can bring a new perspective and fresh way of thinking to our front of house and customer services business. You’ll need excellent communication and teamwork skills and know how to organise a varied workload including; client facing hospitality, call handling, mail-out coordination, event support, and client hosting etc.. In addition, you’ll be able to contribute ideas, solve problems and think for yourself. Fluency in English is essential and other language skills are desirable.

Application requirements

This Programme is specifically designed for those who have NOT pursued higher education, but have completed or are in the process of completing their A-Levels (or equivalent). Therefore, we regret that if you have graduated with a BA, MA or higher qualification, you will not be considered for this Programme. Apprentices will be required to have or achieve Level 1 Maths and English and to have taken Level 2 Maths and English tests prior to completion of their Apprenticeship.

The Candidate

• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team
• Ability to stay motivated during quiet times and keep up in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to prioritise, organise and stick to deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, written and spoken
• Excellent IT skills (in Microsoft Excel and Outlook)
• Willingness to work occasional evenings
• Commitment to punctual attendance and excellent time keeping
• Knowledge of and/or interest in media, magazine & book publishing desirable

Level 2 Diploma in Customer Service Qualification

Level 2 Diploma in Customer Service qualification upon Completion of this apprenticeship will lead to eligibility to join the Institute of Customer Service as an individual member at Professional Level.
