Store Assistant Manager

The Assistant Store Manager of Monocle Shop Los Angeles will oversee all aspects of store performance through sales management, operational and personnel functions, as well as store visual aesthetics and environment.

Responsibilities: • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable on all products offered • Delivering sales, customer experience, merchandising, visual, and operational expectations • Act as a brand ambassador for Monocle • Ability to learn and share the expertise of products and trends to fit customer’s needs • Maintains an awareness of all product knowledge, and current or upcoming product/trends • Contributes to a positive and inclusive work environment • Maintains store supplies and manages ordering processes • Ensures proper inventory receiving processes and execution of inventory counts • Ability to freely access all areas of the store, including sales floor and stock areas, by standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, bending and climbing a ladder or step stool • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds at any given time; ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

Required Skills: • Demonstrated leadership ability with at least 1 year of experience in a customer-facing sales setting • Flexible availability – including nights, weekends, and holidays • Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience • Motivated to achieve great results because of one's enthusiasm from interacting with customers and Monocle products • Initiates completion of tasks or activities without necessary supervision • Strong cognitive and mathematical skills, including problem analysis, decision making, and financial analysis
