For ‘The Escapist’, photographer Thomas Prior accompanied Robert Bound to Benidorm to look at the trash and the treasure; they saw sunburn, tattoos, high-rises, crosses of St George, Reebok Classics, chips and a lot of beer being sprayed around. They discuss how they shot their photo essay.

Bucharest’s arts scene has always played second fiddle to the Romanian city of Cluj-Napoca but some new galleries have begun to make their mark. Opened last June inside a former art-supplies factory on the northern fringes of the capital, Sector 1 is the city’s newest addition. Chiara Rimella meets the gallery’s Andreea Stanculeanu.
