This week on ‘Meet the Writers’ Georgina Godwin is joined by world-renowned director, screenwriter and novelist Neil Jordan, who has written several critically acclaimed novels and won an Academy Award for ‘The Crying Game’ and a Bafta for ‘The End of the Affair’. We hear about his brand-new book ‘The Drowned Detective’ and how he may be the only person in the world who not only writes short stories, novels and screenplays but directs them too. “I guess I am a rare creature,” he says, “a bit like a unicorn.”
