Despite declaring that it is neutral in Russia’s war with Ukraine, South Africa will host Russia’s foreign minister, Sergei Lavrov, this week. Nwabisa Makunga, journalist and editor of Johannesburg daily ‘Sowetan’, discusses the relationship between the two countries with Georgina Godwin.
