Monocle 24 is looking for an intern to assist producers for our live news output. Tasks will include booking guests, researching and writing notes for our live output for our news shows The Globalist, The Briefing, Midori House and The Daily. You will also help with administrative tasks associated with the day-to-day running of the office.

Experience in radio is not essential but will be a distinct advantage, English fluency is essential, and other language skills are desirable. The internship will be for a period of eight weeks with the possibility of an extension.

With our monthly magazine, round-the-clock radio station, films, book imprint and retail network we are global in reach; our main editorial hub is in London but we have bureaux around the world.

One of those is in Zürich, where we are looking for a part-time student trainee in the field of sound engineering to work in our Monocle 24 radio studio. Candidates should have firsthand experience with professional audio equipment and editing, combined with a strong interest in journalism and current affairs. Candidates should be fluent in English and German, capable of using Adobe Audition and have experience with both analogue and digital mixing desks. Radio production experience is a plus.
