Monocle Los Angeles is looking for a part-time sales member, for its Culver City shop.
Responsibilities:
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable on all products offered.
• Delivering sales, customer experience, merchandising, visual and operational expectations.
• Act as a brand ambassador for Monocle.
• Ability to learn and share the expertise of products and trends to fit customer’s needs.
• Maintains an awareness of all product knowledge and current or forthcoming products and trends.
• Contributes to a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Maintains shop supplies and manages ordering processes.
• Ability to freely access all areas of the shop, including sales floor and stock areas, by standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, bending and climbing a ladder or step stool.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs at any given time; ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30lbs.
Required skills:
• Minimum of two years experience in a high-level retail store.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience.
• Motivated to achieve great results through an enthusiasm in interacting with customers and in Monocle’s products.
• Ability to initiate and complete tasks or activities without necessary supervision.
• Strong cognitive and mathematical skills, including problem analysis, decision-making and financial analysis.
