Claus Porto debut Soleil Zeste in Lisbon
It might be nearly the end of September but summer is far from over in the Portuguese capital. Just take Wednesday night in Lisbon where Monocle, together with heritage Portuguese fragrance house Claus Porto, unveiled their latest collaboration: Soleil Zeste, a vivid new scent celebrating lightness and joy.

Under a beautiful tile and wood-covered canopy designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, over 230 guests gathered at the Centro de Arte Moderna Gulbenkian to celebrate the launch. Developed with perfumer Daphné Bugey, the scent brings a sparkling zest of lime and lemon to meet the green elegance of petitgrain, settling into the soft embrace of white musk. These notes were then masterly reflected in carefully crafted menu by chef André Magalhães, where in-between a red prawn tartare and a quail couscous, citrus remained centre stage.

Who knew that a spritz of perfume could be all it takes to make summer last that little bit longer?
