Kevin and Bo Carney are the husband and wife behind Mohawk General Store, which might well be the best multibrand shop in Los Angeles. And Smock, their in-house brand, embodies the Carney’s laid-back Californian aesthetic. A case in point: this unisex seersucker suit, available in olive or navy. Like many of Smock’s products, it’s made in California using Japanese fabric. The fit is loose and the trousers – with an elasticated drawstring waist – are slightly cropped. Whether worn as separates or a matching set, it’s a playful, youthful spin on the traditional suit, ideal for the warmer months.
