Make my day 02: Trunk House / Tokyo
Our cup of tea
A reviving Japanese brew.
As our horizons widen and diaries fill up, our editors have been hankering after a long-delayed Tokyo stopover and some of the city’s signature hospitality. Few people lay on a better spread than Yusuke Mori; the 39-year-old is the sole butler at the beautiful one-guest-a-night Trunk House inn. He’s charismatic, obliging and liable to second-guess what you’re after before you ask for it. Oh, and as the picture shows, he’s rather partial to tea.
