Conrad 1/3/5: Time-tailored itineraries to savour

One-hour itineraries
Time-conscious guests can instantly experience regional artistry with a 60-minute itinerary.

1.
Nodding to the folklore of the Wixárika – the indigenous people of Nayarit who still thrive in the region – Conrad Punta de Mita’s art collection merges contemporary artistry with Mexican tradition, offering a connection to this ancient culture through vivid visual storytelling. Guests are invited on a one-hour art tour to engage with these artworks, learn about Wixárika history and discover collectable contemporary artists. The hotel’s support for regional creative talent doesn’t end there. Mexico City sculpture collective Máscaras de Alambre staged the hotel’s first art-in-residence exhibition in 2022.

A three-hour itinerary gives guests the chance to enjoy the spa’s trademark temazcal experience. Meaning “house of heat”, temazcal is a four-part purification ritual designed to reconnect with nature’s four elements: earth, fire, water and air. A local shaman guides guests through a mental purification and detoxification process then into a lodge where volcanic rocks are infused with sacred herbs to create aromatic steam. As the temperature rises, guided meditation and chanting takes place, before a moment of introspection is encouraged.
