Recorded live in Milan during Salone del Mobile, Monocle on Fashion’s new three-part series on Prada Frames captures the ideas shaping this year’s symposium, “In Sight”. Held over three days at Basilica di Santa Maria delle Grazie, Prada Frames brought together artists, architects, musicians and thinkers to explore the nature of image-making. From live performances to presentations and conversations, the series offers a window into one of Milan design week’s most thoughtful gatherings.
1. On curating Prada Frames
Prior to the symposium, curators Andrea Trimarchi and Simone Farresin of Formafantasma joined Natalie Theodosi to discuss the thinking behind Prada Frames 2026. Together, they reflected on this year’s theme, “In Sight”, and how the programme examines the ways images influence our lives.

2. Opening night conversations
On the opening night of Prada Frames, Grace Charlton spoke to musicians Hania Rani and Precious Renee Tucker following a series of live performances that brought a new dimension to the symposium. Marking the first time music formed part of the programme, the conversations explored sound, atmosphere and the role performance can play within spaces of reflection and dialogue.
