On Lisbon’s Avenida da Liberdade, JNcQUOI House combines the intimacy and hassle-free living of a private residence with the warm hospitality of JNcQUOI. On arrival, guests are welcomed as Members: their preferences are remembered, life unfolds at their own pace, and they are immersed in the vibrant JNcQUOI community – from the group’s acclaimed restaurants and Fashion Clinic stores in Lisbon to its Comporta outposts on the Atlantic coast. With just 16 rooms, every detail is considered before you even have to ask and Members feel cared for, with a 24-hour butler on call.

The expansive four-storey project marks the group’s latest collaboration with celebrated architect Vincent van Duysen, who also designed JNcQUOI Club Comporta. He has given the townhouse a warm yet contemporary sensibility, pairing refined stone finishes and rich emerald-green touches with nods to classic Portuguese design. Even the on-site gym is homely and refined.

As one would expect from JNcQUOI, food and drink are central to the experience with several on-site venues. JNcQUOI Fish draws on Portugal’s Atlantic heritage, while JNcQUOI Table offers an intimate, 10-seat dining experience. Outside, the Seafood Terrace reimagines a traditional Portuguese kiosk into a luxurious al fresco dining experience; downstairs, the Mirror Room bar is, as the name suggests, a reflective space where the theme is expressed in delicious cocktails.

What gives all these spaces, and the House more broadly, their character is how firmly they are rooted in Lisbon. This is hospitality with a distinctly Portuguese soul: warm, instinctive and deeply personal while interpreted through contemporary design and meticulous service.
