Tokyo Tatemono: Foundations of creativity
Tokyo Tatemono is rethinking how art and life converge with The Arthouse, an innovative new creative space launching in the Japanese capital in 2030. Designed to foster meaningful support and exchange between global partners and local artists, it offers a fresh model for collaboration and engagement.
Artful collaboration
Founded in 1896, Tokyo Tatemono is Japan’s oldest comprehensive developer – and one that shapes Tokyo with a forward-thinking focus. The Arthouse will anchor Kyobashi 3-Chome East District, a 35-storey development featuring an exterior design by Eric Parry Architects, which combines offices, retail, a luxury hotel and cultural spaces. Tokyo Tatemono invites global partners to collaborate on The Arthouse. Together they will shape a new ecosystem for art in Tokyo, connecting creative communities and fostering a dialogue between business and the arts.
Global canvas
The Arthouse will serve as a bridge between Japan’s creative community and the world. As an experimental stage for artists, brands and cultural partners, it aims to amplify Japan’s artistic voice – from craft to contemporary media – and expand its role in the global art ecosystem.
Open space
Beyond The Arthouse, a city-led project will transform nearby expressways into tree-lined promenades, creating a greener gateway to central Tokyo and reaffirming Kyobashi as a place where commerce, culture and lifestyle meet.
