Rough-cut board

Made with premium ash wood in a dark or light brown colourway, this rough-cut board is a collaborative creation with Studio Dottings. Its distinct shape – honoured by inclusion in the Vienna Museum of Applied Arts’ permanent collection – delivers function and style. Constructed for daily use, its five edges prevent spills and allow for easy transfer of food while its pointed design facilitates easy cleaning.

Founded by designer, cookbook author and culinary networker Alexandra Palla, Palla Vienna has redefined houseware since its launch. The label’s edit of kitchen-inspired dress, household accessories and textiles is a celebration of Austria and its culinary scene. Balancing style and function in equal measure, the label produces locally and employs traditional weaving techniques unique to Austria.

Whether your tool of choice is a fountain pen, ballpoint pen or pencil, our sturdy elasticated pen loop will ensure that it doesn't leave your sight. Simply attach this self-adhesive holder to the back cover of your favourite notebook.

Drehgriffel pen

An ideal companion to your notebook, this ballpoint pen, from a design dating back to the 1920s, will keep you writing crisp. The pen works using a spring-loaded turning mechanism and its ink is refillable. It comes in colours that match our notebooks and is a design object to behold, with a geometric hexagonal barrel and a pleasing weightiness that lends to its retro quality.

Yoshino Hinoki Diffuser

This flameless diffuser is made from hinoki wood by Japanese aromatherapy specialist @Aroma. Each diffuser is accompanied by a bottle of bespoke essential oil developed exclusively for Monocle. The scent is built from fresh, deep and spicy notes of cedar wood, sandalwood and cardamom. The oil soaks into the small platform of the diffuser, letting the aromatic nature of the wood disperse the fragrance throughout your living space or office.

Maisoru roll-on fragrance

Produced for Monocle by OLO Fragrance, Maisoru is inspired by the ritual of lighting incense – the act of setting the mood of a space. This oil-based perfume blend is intended to evoke feelings of tranquility and contemplation. Maisoru is a phonetic representation of the Japanese word for mysore – sandalwood being the dominant base note.

Candle Four: Yoyogi

We've teamed up with Comme des Garçons once more to develop our latest signature candle. Bring into your home the woody scent of a run through Tokyo's Yoyogi park on a crisp morning. Featuring notes of cypress, chamomile and oakmoss, this candle will bring the freshness of that experience to your interior with the calming flicker of a flame.

Welsh Lavender hand cream

Developed to nourish hard working hands, this hand cream is made with lavender oil distilled in the hills of mid-Wales. Journalist turned farmer and entrepreneur Nancy Durham collaborated with Monocle editor in chief Tyler Brûlé to design the packaging and branding.

Calavria roll-on fragrance

As an extension to our existing collaboration with OLO, we have again partnered with the Portland, Oregon-based perfumer to create a second oil-based perfume. The new fragrance is called Calavria and evokes the feeling of a stroll through the bergamot orchards of Calabria in the late afternoon sun, a gentle breeze rolling in off the Ionian Sea. It has noticeably fresh, verdant notes of birch and moss and the compact roll-on format makes it ideal to revive you when travelling.

Formulated to revitalise tired feet, this foot cream is made with lavender oil, rosemary oil and peppermint oil distilled in the hills of mid-Wales. The tea tree and calendula flower extract also provide refreshing yet healing benefit to the tired feet. Oxford button-down shirt

Designed to be worn season after season, this striped cotton Oxford shirt is Monocle’s take on a classic Ivy League style. Made in Portugal, it has a relaxed silhouette and has smart details such as an embroidered Monocle logo, a button-down collar and a pen pocket.
