Looking to make your bedside table a phone-free space? Båge & Söner has created this limited-edition table alarm clock, a precision piece tailored for interior enthusiasts and watch lovers alike. Handmade in Stockholm, the clock is encased in light-gold PVD stainless steel with a tempered mineral face, and wrapped with textured calf leather. 

Note the clock’s details, such as the engraved edition number on the backside foot and the California dial (a style dating to the 1930s combining half Roman and half Arabic numerals), which is inscribed with the collaborative branding of Monocle and Båge & Söner. Just the trick for anyone looking to clock-off and relax.

Made in Switzerland using local lumber and equipped with a high-quality mill from Strässler, the product seamlessly combines functionality with a standalone aesthetic.

Cotton beach mat

Featuring colours exclusively developed for Monocle, these pure cotton beach mats are handwoven in the southern Indian city of Chennai. Perfect for sand, yoga or by the pool, these mats are produced by third-generation family clothing brand Original Madras. The brand has been supplying the best of American labels with Madras checks for more than 50 years. Woven on pure cotton, the fabric is famous for its colour and vivacity: dyed with a minimum of two colours, it has been used for headscarves in the Middle East and kimonos in Japan.
