We turn our focus to the world of design for day two of our weekday residency at Maison Allianz. Allianz is a Worldwide Insurance Partner of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. Parisian designer Mathieu Lehanneur tells us about creating the Olympic flame and Olympic cauldron, and graphic designer Joachim Roncin discusses building the visual identity for Paris 2024. Plus: we meet Lobke Berkhout, a Dutch Olympic medalist in sailing, and sit down with skateboarding coach Lea Schairer.

We head to the Swiss town of Baden to meet musician Daniela Weinmann, who goes by the moniker Odd Beholder; speak with Irish writer Eimear McBride and head to Burgundy for a site-specific art exhibition called ‘Terra’.
