Two weeks ago she and South Korean author Han Kang took home the Man Booker International Prize for Kang’s beautifully written novel ‘The Vegetarian’. Monocle’s Andrew Mueller meets Deborah to find out about the delicate process of transforming someone’s words into another language and her relationship with Kang throughout the process.
