A showroom is of the utmost importance. It’s a space that allows customers to see and physically touch wares, to gain an understanding of scale and proportion. It’s also a space that allows a brand to share its ethos with customers, something that Switzerland’s Vitra has done in its new showroom and office in London. Monocle’s Grace Charlton reports.

Established in 2020 with a focus on balancing functionality, quality and sustainability, Pith conceptualises, develops and makes its hand-finished wares in its factory in Northumberland in the UK. The company is committed to producing design-minded paper and stationery, with minimal environmental impact. Its co-founders, Andrew Hardie and Liam Goward, join us in the studio.
