Villa Médici
The 16th-century Villa Médici stands as a monument to the family that built it. The structure has housed the French Academy in Rome since 1803 and today it hosts a variety of French functions. The villa has recently had an overhaul, including work by Paris-based audio-technology company Devialet. David Plaisant reports.
