Will Israel accept Biden’s now UN-backed peace plan?
On Monday the UN Security Council voted in favour of President Biden’s peace plan for Gaza. The plans would see a full and complete ceasefire, the return of Israeli hostages and the exchange of Palestinian prisoners. But while Hamas accepts the plan and says it’s ready to negotiate over details, Prime Minister Netanyahu has not directly said whether he supports it despite Biden describing it as Israel-backed.
