Why Sweden is the master of preparedness
Today millions of Swedes will receive a pamphlet entitled “If crisis or war comes”, advising them on how to prepare for and act in those eventualities. The government last did this in 2018 but now feels the need to update it given the effects of the coronavirus pandemic and the war in Ukraine. The new booklet is double the size. But why is it just Nordic countries doing this considering the rising geopolitical tensions?
