Over the past few days a unilateral ceasefire was announced and broken by Rwanda-backed rebels in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The ceasefire is supposed to allow humanitarian groups to assess the situation and the needs of the civilian population but, of course, what the region really needs is an end to the conflict. Christelle Huré, regional head of advocacy, media and communication at the Norwegian Refugee Council, brings us the latest.
