The last time that the International Monetary Fund held one of its twice-yearly meetings, the world’s financiers and economists were trying to second guess what Donald Trump could do if – and when – he got into power. Six months on, and with Trump now in the White House, delegates at this week’s spring meetings in Washington are still asking themselves the very same questions.
