Northern Ireland’s Democratic Unionist party, a Protestant group that wishes to remain part of the UK and separate from its Catholic neighbours to the south, has just 10 elected representatives in the UK’s House of Commons. But, crucially, it also holds the balance of power and is vital in helping Theresa May push forward with her plans for Brexit. So, what should we know about them? Monocle 24’s Rhys James reports.
