Houthi rebels have hit a US-owned cargo ship, the ‘Gibraltar Eagle’, with a ballistic missile off the coast of Yemen. The vessel has reported no injuries or significant damage and is continuing on its journey in the Gulf of Aden. Hours earlier another missile, fired in the direction of a US destroyer, was intercepted and shot down by a US fighter jet.
