Sydney school building’s design gets global recognition
Darlington Public School in Sydney has been named the World Building of the Year at the 2024 World Architectural festival in Singapore, beating out more than 200 shortlisted entrants. The inner-city school celebrates strong connections to Indigenous cultures and its design incorporates Aboriginal artwork in its cladding and facades.
