Three of Donald Trump’s team will make separate visits to Europe this week to push his America First agenda. Vice president JD Vance will take part in an AI summit in France and attend the Munich Security Conference with secretary of state Marco Rubio before travelling on to the Middle East. Meanwhile, defence secretary Pete Hegseth will visit the headquarters of two US military commands in Germany, a meeting of Nato defense ministers and a gathering of Ukraine’s international supporters in Belgium before travelling to Poland.
