This travel case from Budapest-based Ykra is handcrafted by the brand’s own team of seamstresses in the Hungarian town of Vásárosnamény. Made using materials such as pure cotton canvas, suede strip and cotton tape, each piece features a co-branded logo. The ribbed webbing strap and stitched leather accent on the front are exclusive to Monocle. 

Founded by Hungarian designer Balász Lakatos, Budapest-based Ykra channels a nostalgic take on outdoor bags and accessories. From vegetable-tanned leather to cotton canvas, the label features products made from natural materials.
