Sitting down at their kitchen table in Stockholm, longtime friends Gustav Kjellander and Emil Holmström were thinking less of Sweden than of the UK when they came up with the idea of starting their own fashion brand. More than 10 years later, Brixtol Textiles (a name that combines London’s Brixton district and the English city of Bristol) continues to be inspired by UK workwear and tailoring but Kjellander and Holmström’s understated Scandi tastes also add a practical touch.
