Yonetomi X monocle

Founded in 1952, Japanese family-run knitwear brand Yonetomi operates directly out of its Yamagata Prefecture factory. Selling directly to customers, the label’s name was inspired by an ancient Japanese merchant house that dealt in raw silk during the Meiji period and cotton under the Tokugawa shogunate. Headed up by CEO Ken Oe, today’s brand presents the best of tradition, tweaked to modern tastes.
