Knitwear brand Le Minor looked west across the Atlantic for inspiration when it was developing its take on the classic coach’s jacket. A riff on the US college sports staple, the brand’s French-made version features a thick Milano knit and comes in muted navy or grey colourways. But the slanted pockets, collar and snap buttons that characterise the iconic piece remain. Plus, Monocle has added an inner chest pocket for this exclusive collaboration.
