Another Aspect Copenhagen

Another Aspect, City Centre       
With a focus on classic menswear staples made from high-quality materials, Another Aspect was founded in Copenhagen by three friends in 2019. Its recently opened flagship in the Danish capital is furnished with dark wood interiors, featuring custom designs by Studio 0405. It also boasts a café, which uses the finest beans from Aarhus roastery La Cabra.

Dansk, Vesterbro      
Specialising in well-designed objects from the Nordics and beyond, this shop has been a fixture on Vesterbro’s Istedgade street for more than a decade. From ceramics to practical kitchenware and stationery from Japan, it’s the perfect place to find thoughtful gifts or smaller items for your home.

Tekla, City Centre         
Founded as a bedding brand in 2017, Tekla has expanded its collection to include a range of lifestyle items, from robes and pyjamas to woollen blankets and towels. The pieces are displayed in the brand’s considered flagship, furnished with a range of design classics such as Alvar Aalto lounge chairs.

Frama, City Centre        
Few brands have experienced the growth and popularity of Frama in recent years, whose furniture and apothecary products are rooted in a functional approach to design. Its wood-panelled shop, housed in a former late-19th-century pharmacy, is worth a visit.

Artikel København, Vesterbro      
Every garment in this quaint shop is made on-site. Specialising in everyday staples with unisex cuts, the shop’s back area houses sewing machines, where one of the founders and a dedicated team of tailors can be found crafting sturdy fabrics into well-made pieces. Garments can be adjusted on request and repaired if needed.

7115 by Szeki, City Centre       
After years of operating from her namesake shop on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, Hong Kong-born Szeki Chan opened her first overseas outpost in Copenhagen. The move to the Danish capital allowed her to refine her offering into what it is today: unisex garments rooted in quality craftsmanship and timeless silhouettes inspired by Nordic and Japanese traditions.

Lié Studio, City Centre      
Jewellery and lifestyle brand Lié Studio was founded by twin sisters Amalie and Cecilie Moosgaard. The label began with a focus on well-crafted jewellery and has recently expanded into leather goods. The brand’s outpost is fitted with a selection of furniture from Denmark and Italy, wooden counters, hanging paper lamps and deep-green seating, exuding a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

This light-filled shop offers a wide range of magazines and books from around the world, neatly displayed on wall-mounted wooden shelves and stone slabs. It also features a selection of small objects, from book holders to stainless-steel paperweights.

Yonobi has become the go-to destination for those seeking handmade ceramics with a distinct character. Its minimalist interior allows the ceramics to take centre stage. Showcasing works by artists from around the world, the shop focuses on pieces that balance function and aesthetics. Its name combines two Japanese kanji: yo, meaning use or application, and bi, signifying beauty.
