Les Suites Cinabre, Grands Boulevards
Alexandre Chapellier, founder of the menswear accessories brand Cinabre, opened two guest apartments above his shop in November 2023. He worked with Paris-based firm Necchi Architecture to create rooms that are a natural extension of the Cinabre brand in the heart of the Cité Bergère.

Hôtel Balzac, 8th arrondissement
Some years after the death of French novelist Honoré de Balzac, his neoclassical residence off Avenue des Champs-Élysées became a hotel celebrating his life and work. Design duo Charlotte de Tonnac and Hugo Sauzay of Festen Architecture oversaw a revamp, updating the townhouse with subdued interiors. The 58-key bolthole is also home to the Japanese-inspired Ikoi spa, as well as chef Pierre Gagnaire’s traditional French restaurant.
Chateau Voltaire, 1st arrondissement
Interior-design firm Festen and Franck Durand transformed a townhouse into the 32-key Château Voltaire. The design blends art deco, marble finishes and modern touches with highlights such as a pool, spa, Brasserie l’Emil and the bar, La Coquille d’Or.
