Zanat, Bosnia
Bosnian brand Zanat has gradually grown a global audience for its well-crafted timber wares since it was spun off from a four-generation family firm in 2015. This collection of beautiful maple tableware, stained in black, subtly spotlights Zanat’s hand-carving techniques and is designed by the brand’s own artistic director Monica Förster.

Designed by Aaron Probyn, Syd has a traditional dining chair appeal with some tweaks of modernist flair, which is mostly inspired by the pared-back, yet striking architecture of Mexico’s Luis Barragán.

Sunset armchair
De Padova, Italy
The ultimate armchair designed and made in Japan and launched into the European market via Italian furniture masters De Padova, Sunset is part of a growing collaboration between the Milanese brand and Tokyo’s Time & Style. Originally inspired by the chair design of Danish mid-century maestro Børge Mogensen, this design update will not date.

PK22 chair
Fritz Hansen, Denmark
To celebrate the brand’s 65th anniversary, Fritz Hansen has released a new take on Poul Kjaerholm’s iconic pk22 chair, a minimalist masterpiece, with a soft leather seat replacing the original design’s wicker seat. The piece even scooped an international design prize in Milan a decade after its release, and it still remains a winner a good half century on.
