Something happens the moment you step foot on an island, no matter how big or small. To get a sense of the otherworldly feel of island life, Konfekt’s deputy editor Chiara Rimella took a trip to the Portuguese archipelago of the Azores. She visited the central islands of Pico and São Jorge to discover how life on this volcanic outcrop informs its people’s craft, food and mentality.

Concept stores can be a treasure trove of unconventional finds - and none fits this bill quite like Copenhagen-based store Holly Golightly. Equal parts chic and curious, the store has grown up alongside the city’s burgeoning fashion scene. To find out how it all began, Konfekt’s Carolina Abbot Galvão caught up with founder Barbara Werner at her shop.

Born on the outskirts of Paris, since arriving in London, artist Léa Sen has taken a studious approach to her music. The mellifluous melodies and fresh electronic production of her debut EP, You Of Now Part 1, caught Konfekt’s attention earlier this year. We sent Konfekt’s Paige Reynolds to Sen’s garden to catch up with the artist and hear about her journey so far.
