Learnings from the Paris AI summit

Earlier this week the Paris Artificial Intelligence Action Summit brought together leaders from around the world to try to get them to agree on a common approach to tackling new technologies. That effort failed. The US and UK refused to sign a joint communiqué at the end of the conference, leaving the EU wondering whether efforts to regulate AI on its own will simply push tech companies away.
