‘A Constant Heart’

Maud Russell was a British patron of the arts in the early to mid 20th century. She was painted by Matisse, had a relationship with 'James Bond' author Ian Fleming and lived in Mottisfont Abbey, where she entertained the who’s who of high society. During the Second World War she kept a diary detailing not just the lives of these people but also what life was like during this turbulent period, which her granddaughter Emily Russell has just published. Emily joins Fernando Augusto Pacheco in the studio.
