Chapter 1

Peddler Journal

Cover art for The Stack

‘Peddler Journal’ sets out to explore, in its own words, the “multi-cultures” of food. Featuring longform essays alongside recipes, as well as sumptuous photography of street scenes and culinary delicacies, it is the brainchild of Hetty McKinnon, an Australian in Brooklyn. The first issue is called Chinatown and explores the culinary culture that Hetty is most familiar with. She talks to Henry Rees-Sheridan.
