Good graphic design – the sort that informs, entertains and leaves an impression – is hard to do. So imagine our editors’ surprise when they stumbled across this pinpoint example of serious-but-silly signage on a recent trip through Saxony. The faintly ridiculous image of a man tossing away his sausage, combined with the fallen, cross-eyed hog above it, create perhaps the perfect piggy insignia. Bin your Bratwurst people, you’ve seen the sign.
