Hectic, hot and chaotic, Bangkok is the steamy backdrop for our fashion story. Stay cool on the run across town and take everything the city can throw at you in your stride.Men’s stylistTakeharu SatoWomen’s…
Whether zipping down the Choa Phraya river on one of the Saen Saeb Khlong boats or winding through alleyways of Khlong Tang in a lit-up rickshaw, transport is always on the mind when in vast, unruly Bangkok. Brightly painted cabs are a ubiquitous sight in the city. The capital is home to over 100,000 taxis, and – for the thrill-seeker – nearly 60,000 motorcycle taxis (tight grip required). But rely only on these and you’re up against notorious traffic. Thankfully Bangkok’s subway and sky trains are modern and blissfully air-conditioned, a break from the oppressive climate of one of the world’s hottest capitals, and a commute across town can often mean hopping between public and private – rail, to river to road.
