The UK’s foreign secretary, David Cameron, has been in Berlin to meet his German counterpart, Annalena Baerbock, hoping to secure additional support for Ukraine and playing down any rift between the two countries over the embarrassing leak of a German military call. That he needed to visit Berlin, however, suggests that there is a rift that needs mending.
